Reiki has been life changing for me in both my personal and professional life, and I love talking in-depth about Reiki and sharing my knowledge with passionate students.

Step 1 is the Shoden 1 Beginner Teachings course, which is explained in detail below. Whether you are looking to learn about Reiki for personal reasons or professional, you begin with this two-day course.

If you are then wanting to develop your Reiki to a point where you can become a practitioner you will return for Okuden II Hidden Teachings, which is a one day course. Details about this course are below.

It is important to note that there must at least a two month gap between Beginner Teachings and Hidden Teachings, in this time you are expected to continue to explore Reiki by using it in your life, as well as continuing your self education on Reiki.

Shoden I -

Beginner Teachings

In this Reiki course, your awareness and feeling for the Reiki energy are being developed and cultivated. You will learn how the energy works and discovery how you can offer Reiki to your family and friends.

What you will learn:

- how Reiki energy works

- the difference between Reiki and the System of Reiki

- the three energy centres within the system of Reiki

- an overview of the history of Reiki and the meaning of the lineages

- you will receive and give a full Reiki treatment, learning the hand positions and hands-on-healing

- how to maintain your energy throughout your day

- about the reiju attunement and experience four of them throughout the course

- Shoden meditations, which will help you implement the energy

What's included:

- a comprehensive manual

- morning and afternoon nibbles

- tea and water (bring your own bottle if you have one)

- four reiju and attunements

- Reiki I Shoden Certificate of Initiation

- different Reiki Meditations

- lots of one on one Reiki practice

To receive your certificate both days must be attended. We will have lunch at a nearby cafe, please advise of any dietary requirements prior to the course beginning.

The Shoden course is limited to six people to ensure every participant gets the individual attention they require.

There are no prerequisites required to begin this course.

Okuden II -

Hidden Teachings

In this more advanced Reiki course you will delve deeper into the Reiki teaching, the hidden teachings within you. This training will deepen your practice of Reiki and will qualify you to become a professional Reiki practitioner. You tap into yourself during this course and unlock the hidden wisdom from within that will help you heal and grow. This course is to deepen your practice and it is the minimum requirement to be working as a professional Reiki Practitioner.

What you will learn:

- the three Reiki Symbols

- how to use the symbols in daily practice

- distance/remote healing techniques to people, pets, and nature

- meditations specific to Level 2

- chanting with the three symbols

- Japanese energy meditations to deepen the daily practice and healing

- techniques to enhance the embodiment of the energy

What's included:

- a comprehensive manual

- morning and afternoon nibbles

- tea and water (bring your own bottle if you have one)

- three reiju and attunements

- Reiki II Okuden Certificate of Initiation

- re-sit the course for a discounted price

- the 3 Reiki Symbols and the meaning
